Exceeding Organic Standards: Part 2 Nature's Detox

This is Part 2 in a series. To start from the introduction, click here.
The government's organic standards often overlook essential factors that naturally improve the health of animals, such as the ingestion of diverse grasses by livestock. Chlorophyll is one of nature’s best detoxes. Factory farmed poultry is raised in a toxic environment, and their source of detox is removed. Regrettably, this crucial aspect receives minimal consideration within the government's organic framework. Their pass-fail system fails to incentivize farmers to go beyond the bare minimum requirements.
In our approach, we transcend mere adherence to certification labels. We prioritize offering our animals a natural and diverse diet, incorporating factors such as chlorophyll, sunshine, exercise, and pasture sanitation, all of which do not get a mention for organic certification. It’s just one more example of how we exceed organic standards.
